What is the tuition?
The Conservatory Program runs on a flat rate tuition August-May at a rate of $225 per month. Exam registration fees are additional and vary by level.
In addition, advanced students may choose to take additional theory an composition courses at an added rate of $50 per month per class. Extra courses are optional but are STRONGLY encouraged for students seeking college music studies or professional careers in music.
What about younger students?
Our Pre-Conservatory Program is the perfect fit for serious-minded students in grades 3-6. The Pre-Conservatory program includes many of the benefits of the Conservatory program but fit to the developmental needs of a younger child. Pre-Conservatory tuition is $115 per month.

What is required for admission to the Conservatory Program?
Students must
- Be in the 7th grade, or twelve years old.
- Be recommended by their teacher or audition.
- Have completed a minimum of level 3A in the standard curriculum.
- Be able to attend weekly lessons of one hour and monthly group classes (Sept.-November, Jan.-April).
- Be consistent with home practice.
What is involved in the Conservatory Program?
- Study of standard, classical repertoire utilizing the Royal Conservatory of Music Curriculum.
- Weekly, one-hour lessons with our most senior instructors.
- Monthly, one-hour group classes.
- Three Master classes per ten-month period.
- Graded performance and theory exams through The Royal Conservatory of Music (exemptions must be approved by Ms. Jen).
- Optional participation in Music Teacher's National Association competitions (recommended for students seeking to pursue music in college).
- Optional separate theory and composition courses (recommended for students seeking to pursue music in college).

- Learn music theory and history as part of their weekly lessons.
- Have forty-five minute lessons each week and at least three group classes per school year.
- Optional participation in RCM performance and theory exams.
- Automatic admission into the conservatory program.
